Man Walks Into Baltimore Hospital With Gunshot Wounds After Late-Night Shooting, Police Say

At least one man was shot overnight in Baltimore, authorities say.

Police arrived to the scene of a ShotSpotter alert in the 1700 block of Madison Avenue around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, where they found evidence of a shooting, but no victim, according to a Baltimore police spokesperson.

Shortly after police canvassed the scene, a 46-year-old man walked into an area hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg.

Officers were able to determine that the man was the victim of the Madison Avenue shooting, investigators say.

The victim is expected to survive the incident. It is unclear if there were any other victims on Wednesday night.
